Here is kid Apen from The Silver Eye, just being adorz.
My favorite part about this is that it's not like a portrait of a happy younger character before all the bad stuff happened to them. The poor kid was beaten over the head with tragic-back-story until he lost his will to keep going. Then Velvare gave him that interesting pep talk and convinced Apen to want to live again. This portrait happens after Apen comes back from the dark place, and finds peace.
...At least until Enel shows up. Enel ruins everything.
